Technical Training and Placement Lead - Bhopal

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Training and Placement Lead based in Bhopal to oversee comprehensive placement activities within the IT and technology sectors. This role drives initiatives to prepare students for employment, coordinates campus placements, manages corporate partnerships, and ensures successful placement outcomes across diverse domains including Software Development, Data Science, AI, Cyber Security, Cloud, DevOps, and Digital Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute programs to prepare students for job readiness by validating technical competencies, conducting coding and hands-on tests, and enhancing aptitude and communication skills.
• Conduct mock interviews encompassing technical, HR, coding rounds and project assessments, while guiding students on resume presentation, GitHub portfolios, LinkedIn optimization, and interview etiquettes.
• Plan and manage both on-site and virtual placement drives for various employers including IT companies, startups, and multinational corporations.
• Engage with recruiters for roles such as Software Developer, Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, Cyber Security Analyst, Cloud/DevOps Engineer, and Digital Marketing Executive, handling all stages of the recruitment process.
• Build and sustain robust collaborations with IT firms, product companies, service providers, and HR consultancies to facilitate placements, internships, live projects, and recruitment events.
• Implement alignment of the institute's curriculum with evolving industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Maintain comprehensive databases of student skills, certifications, mock performance, placements, and recruiter information; generate insightful reports and dashboards using Excel and CRM platforms.
• Deliver career counseling focused on IT career pathways, project choices, freelancing, and internship prospects, motivating students toward achieving placement goals.
• Lead and coordinate the placement team, including coordinators and counselors, and collaborate with trainers and academic staff to close skill gaps and set progressive placement targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably MBA, MCA, or M.Tech.
• Between 4 and 8 years experience in IT training & placement, technical recruitment, or career development services.
• Prior involvement with IT institutes, skill development centers, or EdTech organizations is an advantage.
