Role Overview

The Technical Surveyor position is pivotal in delivering a seamless customer experience. This role involves conducting thorough on-site surveys at customers’ residences, precisely measuring and validating the feasibility of fitted furniture installations. You will finalize design layouts and prepare technical details to ensure smooth installation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate measurements and surveys of rooms to verify fit and design feasibility for fitted furniture.
  • Collaborate directly with customers during home visits to finalize layout and installation specifics.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with design and installation teams to ensure project accuracy.
  • Utilize CAD software and digital tools for confirming technical specifications, with training provided.
  • Represent Sharps with professionalism and courtesy during all customer interactions.

Working Hours

This is a 37.5-hour per week role, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required to meet business and customer demands.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in surveying, trades, or installation work, preferably in bedrooms, kitchens, or bathrooms.
  • Confident and articulate communicator with excellent customer service aptitude.
  • Competent with digital technologies and the interpretation of floor plans; CAD experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with practical problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable, polite, flexible, and committed to delivering a professional, customer-oriented service.
