Technical Support Engineer

Job Overview

This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. The engineer collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support web and mobile applications.
• Produce clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code bases.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs and external third-party services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, and MongoDB.
• Develop responsive front-end user interfaces and implement key application functionalities.
• Detect, analyze, and resolve software defects and technical challenges.
• Carry out application testing, debugging, and optimize performance.
• Incorporate authentication systems, payment processing gateways, and other external service integrations.
• Manage source code repositories via Git and GitHub.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, QA testers, and project managers.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and adhere to best practice development standards.
• Deploy applications and provide continuous maintenance and support.
• Engage in code reviews, planning sessions, and strive for ongoing process improvements.

Technical Skills Required

• Proficient in programming languages including React JavaScript, Dart, PHP, and SQL.
• Experience with frameworks such as Flutter, Django, Node.js, and Laravel.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database management systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Firebase.
• API development expertise, including REST API design and integration of third-party APIs.
• Use of development tools like Git, GitHub, VS Code, and Android Studio.
• Working knowledge of cloud service platforms such as Firebase and other cloud-based application services.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, capable of debugging and delivering technical solutions efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and effective time-management.
• Competent in software development and deployment, application architecture, database and API management, troubleshooting, project coordination, and continuous learning.
