Role Overview

The Technical Sales Specialist offers critical technical assistance within the Animal Health Veterinary (AHV) product range, supporting internal marketing and sales teams, external veterinary professionals, and corporate clients. This role entails close collaboration with leadership to develop and execute product strategies backed by relevant data to stimulate business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert technical knowledge regarding animal health products and diseases to internal teams, veterinarians, and farmers.
• Investigate and address product-related questions or complaints following established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage clinical and marketing trials to support current products and facilitate new product developments.
• Work with stakeholders such as Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory teams, and industry opinion leaders to ensure consistency in technical matters.
• Provide technical input for marketing campaigns and materials, ensuring compliance with company SOPs and budget limits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must hold a veterinary medicine degree registrable in New Zealand.
• Professional experience in small and large animal veterinary practices is required.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and solid technical understanding of animal health are necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with PromoMats or comparable marketing approval platforms.
• Competence in resource management and handling project budgets.
