Overview
Evantis Consulting is seeking an adept IT Contract Recruitment Consultant to join their UK & European contractor desk. This role involves working remotely in a swift-paced environment that focuses on managing active pipelines and placing senior IT contractors across the UK and Europe daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple live contractor positions simultaneously.
- Effectively evaluate senior IT candidates promptly and accurately against open job requirements.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of contractors covering critical technical skill sets.
- Conduct candidate interviews to determine their suitability, availability, expected day rates, and legal work eligibility.
- Submit contractors to clients and coordinate interview schedules and onboarding activities.
- Monitor contractor contract end dates proactively and engage contractors ahead of notice periods for re-placement.
- Collaborate closely with the company founder to understand new roles, client needs, and market trends.
- Utilize LinkedIn and advanced AI sourcing tools to identify and engage candidates efficiently.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Technical Skill Areas Focus
- Cloud & Infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, DevOps, and SRE.
- Senior Software Engineering domains including Java, Python, .NET, and full-stack development.
- Data & Analytics roles like Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Intelligence Developers.
- Cybersecurity sector placements.
- IT Project and Programme Management roles.
- Digital and Product management sectors.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years of direct experience in a UK-based IT contract recruitment environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK contractor marketplace, including day rate expectations, notice periods, right to work regulations, and IR35 status determinations.
- Documented success in placing senior-level IT contractors rather than only junior or permanent staffing.
- Strong communication skills, particularly on phone interactions with senior technical professionals.
- Capability to efficiently juggle several live recruitment assignments without compromising quality.
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote capacity.
- Willingness and ability to work during UK business hours (08:30–17:30 GMT).
