Technical Project Manager

About the Role

LionsBot International is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development of their next-generation cleaning robots. As a key contributor, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of new robotic products, from initial prototypes through to full production, ensuring timely and quality delivery by coordinating multiple cross-disciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan sprints, monitor progress, and resolve blockers for engineering teams.
• Coordinate collaboration between Autonomy, Software, Mechanical, Embedded, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams.
• Manage dependencies across teams to guarantee critical milestones are met on schedule.
• Track and report risks, escalate issues as needed, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee validation stages including Engineering Validation (EV), Design Validation (DV), Production Validation (PV), and manage production release approvals.
• Collaborate with team leads to allocate resources efficiently on priority paths.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, create status updates, and communicate project timeline health to stakeholders.
• Lead coordination of NPI activities and transition processes to Supply Chain Management (SCM), Quality Assurance, and Contract Manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and launch planning alongside marketing teams.
• Hold end-to-end ownership of project profit and loss and develop comprehensive business cases.
• Ensure smooth handover to sustaining support teams after product launch.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of five years’ experience managing technical projects or programs focused on hardware product development.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional engineering teams encompassing mechanical, electrical, software, and embedded disciplines.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and skilled with project management tools.
• Familiar with hardware development processes including NPI and multiple validation gates.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex hardware products within deadline constraints.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
