Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager responsible for leading and coordinating complex projects involving cross-department collaboration, particularly focusing on cloud infrastructure migrations and system architecture improvements.

The ideal candidate exhibits excellent communication skills, persistent drive, structured thinking, strong risk identification and problem solving, and can efficiently synchronize efforts across various teams to ensure successful project completion.

Technical fluency is required to engage meaningfully with engineering teams, transform project objectives into actionable plans, and direct multi-disciplinary teams including Infrastructure, Application Development, and Data Platform divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of cloud migration projects, including initial planning, readiness evaluation, execution, and stabilization phases.
• Create and update detailed project schedules outlining scope, milestones, dependencies, responsible parties, and key decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, platform, security, and application teams to maintain alignment and ensure migration preparedness across all workstreams.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies between teams, and potential obstacles early in the project lifecycle to minimize impact.
• Conduct regular readiness assessments, addressing emerging challenges and ensuring mitigation strategies are effective.
• Lead thorough analyses of delivery problems and deviations in schedule to uncover root causes and recommend improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement by integrating lessons learned and corrective measures into future migration efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience overseeing technology, infrastructure, platform, or cloud-focused projects.
• Advanced project management abilities encompassing planning, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose complex issues beyond obvious symptoms and identify delivery weaknesses.
• Proven aptitude for anticipating risks and addressing constraints to safeguard key deliverables and deadlines.
• Ability to navigate multiple technical teams and manage competing priorities seamlessly.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities to drive consensus and alignment.
• Expertise in imposing structure and clarity within ambiguous or complicated delivery contexts.
• Exceptional communication skills for translating technical challenges into clear business and project impacts.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with cloud migration or infrastructure modernization projects, including experience with:
