About the Team
The Product team translates market opportunities into implementable roadmaps that engineering can deliver on and customers find indispensable. As a Technical Product Manager, you will own part of the product roadmap, collaborating closely with engineers to deliver features that solve real-world customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform strategic priorities into clear specifications and break down major initiatives into manageable, deliverable milestones.
- Make daily prioritization decisions within your domain and escalate trade-offs requiring broader input.
- Work directly with engineers on designing APIs, integrating systems, and understanding technical feasibility and constraints through informed collaboration.
- Leverage customer, sales, and support feedback to identify real needs and use data-driven experimentation to validate ideas before and after launch.
- Identify opportunities where AI can enhance the product or internal processes and coordinate with engineering on testing and refining these AI-enabled features.
- Define and monitor success metrics; manage beta programs and user acceptance testing; and maintain up-to-date documentation and specs.
- Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, keeping engineering, support, and sales aligned on product releases and rationales.
Candidate Profile
You are a product manager comfortable engaging deeply with engineering teams, passionate about delivering functional solutions that meet customer needs, and willing to explore detailed technical conversations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of product management experience within SaaS companies or fast-scaling startups.
- Experience collaborating on API design, integrations, and navigating technical compromises.
- Familiarity or strong interest in AI/ML features impacting product development.
- Proficiency in writing product specifications, backlog prioritization, and success metric tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Aptitude to manage portions of the product roadmap and make informed decisions amidst incomplete data.
