Project Overview
A prominent financial institution in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technical Migration Business Analyst to support the greenfield implementation of the Murex MX.3 platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between technical data migration teams and business units (Front, Middle, Back Office) ensuring seamless migration of trading, pricing, and risk functionalities to or within Murex MX.3.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to verify accurate migration and validation of trade capture, pricing, and market risk operations.
- Utilize deep knowledge of Murex workflows including trade lifecycle management, interface workflow configuration, confirmation issuance, error handling, and Open Systems Process (OSP).
- Support data migration efforts encompassing trade and static data migration, legacy-to-Murex position reconciliation, and trade mapping.
- Identify and recommend improvements to current solutions by leveraging analytical and technical insights.
- Coordinate critical activities such as cutover planning, system go-live, and follow-up post-launch support.
Required Expertise
- Extensive experience in Murex with a total of 7 to 10 years, including at least 4 years focused on migration assignments.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial products like Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), Fixed Income Derivatives (FXD), bonds, repos, commodities, and equities.
- Strong practical functional knowledge of Murex MX.3, particularly with Front Office modules involving Trade Capture, Pricing, Market Data management, and Pre-Deal/Post-Deal workflow configurations.
- Participation in a minimum of one end-to-end Murex implementation or migration project.
- Expertise in data migration and reconciliation methods.
- Solid familiarity with Murex version 3.1, MXML scripting, Datamart reporting, and Global Organization Model (GOM).
Language Proficiency
Fluency in English at the C2 proficient level is mandatory.
