Role Overview and Responsibilities

The role entails advancing enterprise AI innovations through a multifaceted position incorporating hands-on software engineering and leadership. Responsibilities include mentoring junior developers, collaborating with management on product strategies and go-to-market plans, upholding high coding standards, and adapting flexibly across responsibilities. This role requires thriving under autonomous conditions with often ambiguous, iterative, and evolving directives, converting broad visionary goals into actionable plans.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable high-performance code.
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate effectively with clients.
• Lead and oversee a development team to deliver impactful outcomes.

Key Duties

• Design prototypes addressing real-world enterprise AI scenarios using Autothought for applications like claims processing, compliance, risk management, and customer onboarding.
• Deploy specialized retrieval-augmented generation systems, fine-tuned LLM models, and secure natural language processing pipelines tailored to specific domains.
• Develop and maintain AI-driven internal software tools based on React and Express frameworks.
• Operate within a secure and strictly monitored infrastructure while ensuring fast development cycles balanced against reliability and data privacy.
• Collaborate closely with client teams spanning business, compliance, and technical functions to gather requirements, verify assumptions, and prioritize iterative releases.
• Integrate insights and techniques from the in-house research team on topics like LLM orchestration, embedding generation, and model compression into practical applications.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal utility libraries outside client deliverables.
• Accelerate personal growth via mentorship, regular feedback, and hands-on involvement in AI deployments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Have over five years of professional experience relevant to software development and AI engineering.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum to manage software projects efficiently.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python programming languages.
• Experience building applications with React and Node.js/Express, including designing and working with RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable with using version control tools like Git, containerization technologies such as Docker, and operating within Linux-based environments.
• Understanding of contemporary AI concepts including embeddings, vector storage solutions, LangChain or LlamaIndex integration.
• A proactive and self-driven attitude comfortable navigating ambiguous and dynamic project scopes.
• Prior experience working with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks or LLM-powered tools is considered advantageous.
