Technical Engineer - Machine Vision

This role is based at our Singapore office located in Jurong East, specializing in technical engineering within the machine vision and industrial automation field.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team by assessing project feasibility, testing product functionalities, evaluating technical solutions, and communicating customer needs.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshoot machine vision hardware and software issues during customer testing phases.
• Relate customer feedback and product technical requirements to the R&D team, monitoring customization projects effectively.
• Handle after-sales RMA issues, ensuring quality assurance through follow-up communications.
• Create and deliver technical support materials such as guidance documents, FAQs, and operational videos for international colleagues and clientele.
• Take charge of technical activities related to overseas exhibitions, including coordination of materials, equipment setup, debugging, and overall event support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in automation, electromechanical engineering, photoelectric technology, or a related science and engineering discipline.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in machine vision, industrial automation, or image processing consulting roles.
• Strong foundational knowledge in optics and electronics; proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Excellent logical reasoning, organizational, coordination, and communication skills combined with a cooperative team approach.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities in English; proficiency in Mandarin preferred to facilitate internal communications.
• Willingness to undertake business trips overseas; previous international work experience is an asset.
