Job Role

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Technical Drafter located in Dubai who will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts for playground and adventure gear using CAD and similar software tools. The daily activities include translating design briefs, engineering inputs, and client requirements into precise 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and installation details.

The role requires close cooperation with designers, engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure compliance with safety standards, applicable local regulations, and manufacturing specifications. The drafter will maintain and update drawing documentation, support project proposals with technical illustrations, and provide assistance in resolving design challenges during production and installation phases.

Requirements

• Expertise with technical drawing/drafting software such as AutoCAD or comparable tools, adept at generating correct 2D and 3D plans and layouts.
• Ability to interpret engineering and architectural documents, including specifications, measurements, and technical norms.
• Knowledge in materials, structural principles, and fundamental engineering relevant to playground and leisure equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, including proficiency in reviewing and correcting drawings to reduce errors impacting production and installation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate efficiently with design, engineering, project management, and sales departments.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize assignments, and adhere to deadlines in a dynamic, on-site environment.
• Possession of a relevant technical diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline; experience within playground, leisure, or construction sectors is a plus.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and international playground standards is advantageous.
