  • Take ownership and provide leadership on technical design standards employing advanced tools like BIM, 3D CAD design, and Digital Twin technologies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical network design, preferably within renewable energy systems; profound understanding of power system engineering principles.
  • Project management experience, including budgeting and capex engineering oversight, is advantageous.
  • Fundamental knowledge of power system network and renewable generation connection designs from 400kV substations down to renewable site low voltage installations, involving technologies such as AIS/GIS substations, grid-forming inverters, and control systems.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools including DigSilent PowerFactory, BIM360, Revit, and AutoCAD 3D.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Transmission and Distribution (T&D) networks and design considerations for electrical equipment in energy storage and renewable installations addressing safety, interference, installation access, and operational maintenance.
  • A deep commitment to clean energy and alignment with social and environmental objectives.
  • Professional experience in engineering, system planning, or consultancy within the energy sector, ideally in energy storage or renewable domains.
  • Motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment.
