Job Overview

The Technical Data Analyst at Clearwater Analytics plays a pivotal role in maintaining and managing client investment data. This position demands proficiency in analyzing and structuring unprocessed data, developing data systems and pipelines, conducting intricate data analyses, and presenting findings via advanced visualization techniques. Collaborating closely with both clients and project management teams, the analyst must understand and align with client and corporate needs, merge data from diverse sources, and continuously enhance data quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of database architecture and principles of data warehousing.
• Knowledge of investment data is advantageous.
• Programming skills in languages including Java, Python, or VBA.
• Competence in data cleansing and data manipulation methods.
• Familiarity with data governance practices and management best practices.

Educational Background and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in fields such as data analytics, statistics, accounting, computer science, or related disciplines.
• At least four years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
• Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Skills in data exchange, integration, transfer, and load (ETL) processes.
• Experience using data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Knowledge of dbt or Prophecy is a plus but not mandatory.
