Technical Architect

Overview

We seek a highly seasoned Technical Architect to spearhead the architecture and design of enterprise-scale technology initiatives. The role requires extensive experience in modern application development, distributed systems, and cloud computing, ideally within the Airlines, Airports, or Travel Technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and define enterprise and solution architecture for complex technology programs.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed applications using microservices and event-driven models.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to solution design efforts.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to development and engineering teams.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technology platforms and architecture patterns.
• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver adept solutions.
• Ensure that architecture complies with business goals, scalability, security, and performance benchmarks.
• Offer guidance in cloud adoption, DevOps practices, and integration processes.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with Node.js runtime environment.
• Expertise in Oracle database systems.
• Hands-on experience with messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Cloud computing technologies and platforms.
• DevOps methodologies.

Architecture Capabilities

• Enterprise architecture and solution design expertise.
• Event-Driven Architecture implementation.
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD) application.
• Distributed systems design and microservices orchestration.
• Technical leadership and managing stakeholder relationships.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience.
• At least 5 years in technical architecture or architecture leadership roles.
• Proven ability to architect enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional technical teams and business units.
• Preference for candidates experienced in Airlines, Airports, or Travel Technology industries.

Location and Mobility

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, requiring onsite presence.
