Tech Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Tech Business Analyst to join us in Dubai focusing on banking payments and financial services integrations. This role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions, particularly in API-based integration projects within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough requirement analysis and documentation to support enterprise-scale banking transformations.
• Develop approved API and interface specifications to guide development and integration efforts.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring high quality and minimal defects.
• Manage coordination among multiple third-party vendors and external regulatory or payment partners.
• Oversee production deployments and provide hypercare support post-launch.
• Maintain traceability matrix linking business requirements, APIs, testing activities, and deployment.
• Manage risk, dependencies, and stakeholder communications effectively within both Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 6 to 9 years of business analysis experience with at least 4 years in banking, payments, or financial services integration projects.
• Strong expertise in banking payments domain including escrow management, transaction processing, reconciliation, payment lifecycle management, and digital banking channels.
• Deep understanding of core banking integrations and government entity integrations, preferably with UAE banking domain exposure.
• Technical proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON/XML, XSD/WSDL interpretation, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, and API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
• Ability to write and validate SQL queries and perform extensive data mapping and analysis.
• Familiarity with integration middleware concepts and event-driven or callback integration patterns.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Azure DevOps, Excel, and SQL Developer.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing with digital payments, escrow account solutions, land department, property management, or real estate ecosystem integrations.
• Prior involvement in government entity projects and enterprise-scale banking transformation programs.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields is mandatory.
