Teamcenter Testing Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Teamcenter Testing Engineer to join our team at HCLTech in Pune, India. This role involves analyzing business and functional requirements, designing and executing comprehensive test cases, and ensuring quality through various testing phases including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and functional specifications to develop test cases and scenarios.
• Design, develop, and carry out test executions encompassing functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT tests.
• Identify, log, monitor, and validate defects utilizing defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Create test plans, draft test strategy documents, and document test execution reports.
• Facilitate automation testing efforts where suitable.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, procedures, and best practises.
• Participate actively in Agile team ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience in functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Quality Center.
• Proficiency in designing and executing detailed test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• API testing skills using tools like Postman or equivalents.
• Understanding of SQL and database testing techniques.
• Exposure to performance testing tools including JMeter or LoadRunner.

Eligibility

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in any specialization.
