About the Role
Start each day as an essential member of our Tesco Café team, where you contribute to delivering an enjoyable experience for our customers. Your role will include both food preparation and interaction with patrons, ensuring high standards in every dish served and maintaining compliance with safety and hygiene protocols. You’ll also be responsible for keeping the kitchen and customer areas clean and orderly. This dynamic position offers engaging daily challenges, flexible shifts, and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen tools and equipment.
- Provide prompt and caring service to customers.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines, including accurate daily documentation.
- Manage stock using the first in, first out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness.
- Receive deliveries and safely store food items.
- Follow all operational policies and procedures diligently.
- Prepare, cook, and serve menu items according to café standards.
- Ensure food product availability and uphold quality standards.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of the café menu and serve items as intended.
- Address customer complaints effectively and communicate issues to the Café Manager.
- Stay informed on business updates and new initiatives.
- Maintain a clean environment by clearing and sanitizing tables.
