Team Member

Position Overview

The Team Member role is essential for maintaining smooth operations and cleanliness within the café. Responsibilities include food preparation, counter and floor service, cleaning, dishwashing, and overall housekeeping since no dedicated housekeeping staff exist.

Key Duties

• Prepare and heat sandwiches, beignets, and baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and portion sizes using a high-speed oven.
• Organize and stock the food display and grab-and-go chillers.
• Assist the counter during busy periods by taking orders, packing takeaways and deliveries, and handing them over to customers.
• Maintain guest areas by clearing and sanitizing tables, keeping seating orderly, and warmly welcoming guests.
• Ensure washrooms, floors, glass surfaces, and store entrances are cleaned regularly following a schedule.
• Operate the dishwasher and keep cups, glassware, and smallwares prepared for use.
• Receive deliveries, store them correctly following FIFO and labeling protocols, and manage waste segregation and disposal in compliance with local regulations.
• Adhere to food safety standards, maintain personal hygiene, wear the uniform properly, and use cleaning chemicals safely as trained; report any hazards or equipment failures promptly.

Requirements

• Experience ranging from none up to 2 years in cafes, quick service restaurants, hotels, or retail stores; freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum education of passing Class 10.
• Energetic, dependable, and well-groomed, with a cooperative team spirit.
• Basic proficiency in Hindi; basic English or Marathi skills are advantageous.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts including weekends and holidays; physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kilograms.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 monthly, equivalent to approximately ₹3 lakhs annually, with exceptional candidates considered up to ₹3.6 lakhs per annum.
