Team Leader - Provider Relations

About the Role

We are seeking a Team Leader to join our Provider Relations team based in Dubai. This role entails representing the company by onboarding new healthcare providers and nurturing relationships with existing partners within the designated region.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Provider Relations, the Team Leader oversees daily network team operations, ensuring core objectives are achieved. The position also spearheads specialized initiatives and manages various cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive network expansion efforts by onboarding new providers in the assigned region.
• Manage existing providers through service enhancement, organizing provider visits and training sessions, and resolving complaints.
• Conduct negotiations that align with company pricing policies, service quality benchmarks, and payment conditions.
• Monitor and review provider performance and service utilization metrics.
• Develop and execute quarterly action plans targeting provider management.
• Lead projects to broaden the SAICOHEALTH network across multiple regions.
• Track and ensure consistent team productivity related to network provider management tasks.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex provider issues, sensitive network challenges, and internal system obstacles across all markets.
• Identify and address operational shortcomings in onboarding and contracting processes, while managing initiatives aimed at workflow automation and optimization.
• Maintain expert knowledge of current digital platforms and system software; conduct team training on any new system updates affecting provider relations.
• Successfully deliver special projects on time, overseeing all phases from planning to completion.
• Provide support for detailed price and impact analyses related to network operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in medical or business discipline coupled with a minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working in the medical insurance sector.
• Medical background or certifications in medical coding considered advantageous.
