Team Leader

Job Overview

We are seeking a Team Leader to oversee the acquisition, onboarding, activation, and support of retail merchants on the PayNearby UPI Cash Point platform. This role requires ensuring compliance and maintaining high transaction activities with onboarded merchants.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach retail merchants within designated territories to introduce the PayNearby UPI Cash Point solution.
• Effectively communicate merchant benefits and earning potentials.
• Acquire and enroll new merchants onto the PayNearby platform.
• Carry out full digital KYC processes and collect necessary documentation.
• Guide merchants through app installation and registration to ensure successful activation.
• Support merchants until their first transaction is successfully completed.
• Implement ATM/Cash Point branding and display approved marketing materials for visibility.
• Maintain strict compliance with KYC guidelines, avoid fraudulent or duplicate onboarding, and capture GPS-tagged photographs of merchants.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of merchant data and engagement activities.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum educational qualification: Graduate degree.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, financial services, fintech, or banking sectors.
• Preferred candidates include those with backgrounds in fintech and digital payments such as Paytm-CSC, PhonePe (Premium Executive), Pine Labs, MSwipe, or in assisted banking operations like HDFC Corporate BC, Airtel Payment Bank, Spice Money, and Fino Payments Bank.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Android smartphones.
• Ownership or access to a two-wheeler vehicle for mobility.
• Experience in merchant acquisition and digital onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with KYC document handling and compliance.
• Efficient territory management capabilities.
• Fluency in the local language of the operational area.
