Team Leader

Overview

Joining Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Limited as a Team Leader means that regular office attendance is not expected. Your contributions to the company will be measured through various activities including training participation, meetings, onboarding support, sales updates, and insurance solicitation.

Core Responsibilities

• Participate in company-led online and offline training sessions.
• Attend office premises when requested by the company.
• Take part in company meetings and webinars, both virtual and in-person.
• Support the onboarding process for new Insurance Consultants or Points of Sale (POP).
• Maintain and update sales activities using the company’s Business Management Tool (BMT).
• Engage in the solicitation of insurance policies.

Additional Duties

• Ensure ethical selling practices and maintain business quality within your team’s business code.
• Select suitable Insurance Consultant, Advisor, and POS-P profiles and guide them through IRDA and TALIC licensing and certification processes.
• Promote customer-centric approaches and improve the financial acumen of your team members.
• Build and lead your team effectively, managing interpersonal relationships and operational issues.
• Monitor Insurance Consultants and POS-P activities; collaborate to plan business promotion and development strategies.
• Implement control mechanisms to balance new business acquisition and renewal collections.
• Identify promising market opportunities for company growth.
• Operate economically, efficiently, and satisfactorily within your assigned responsibility area as designated by the company.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, efficiency, and integrity, coordinating effectively with fellow employees and adhering to directives from superiors.
