The flagship site hosts over 1,000,000 content pages in more than 70 languages and is a leading platform for online training and assessments with the world's largest library of professional tests and quizzes. Their products span quizzes, surveys, training, knowledge base, CRM tools, and more, helping users work smarter and improve customer satisfaction. The company also runs a publishing business focused on online quizzes, games, and relationship content. Headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in India, it employs approximately 200 staff in Noida and Mayapuri offices.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead development and upkeep of a SaaS application with a focus on strong backend capabilities.
- Own the technical direction of the application and mentor a small team of developers.
- Engage in hands-on coding, designing application architecture, conducting code reviews, and resolving production issues.
- Coordinate with both frontend and backend developers for seamless integration and performance enhancements.
- Work with third-party API integrations and optimize system workflows.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development with a solid background in backend programming.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js framework.
- Strong understanding of MongoDB including schema design, querying, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Good experience with React.js and contemporary frontend development practices.
- Skilled in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating external APIs.
- Experience working with asynchronous operations, scheduled tasks, and webhooks.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern software development workflows.
- Additional exposure to AWS, Parse Server, Next.js, GitHub Actions, or Terraform is advantageous.
Location & Work Model
This position is based in Noida with a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week attendance at the office.
