About Compass International School
Founded in 2006, Compass International School provides high-quality British education to expatriate and local Qatari families through two campuses located at Al Themaid and Madinat Khalifa. Job Purpose
The Teaching Assistant (TA) plays a vital role in advancing the mission and vision of the school by supporting excellent international education. This position entails adhering to all school and company policies, contributing actively to a positive learning environment.
Role Overview
The TA will help establish high academic expectations by designing classroom activities aligned with the Primary curriculum and fostering a respectful, engaging learning culture that encourages inquiry and discussion without limits.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic international school setting.
- University degree holder with recognized librarian qualification.
- Committed to reflective practice and innovation in enhancing library achievement levels.
- Strong collaborator and representative for the school, confident in communicating across diverse audiences.
- Must meet Qatar visa requirements, including holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Preferably residing under husband/family sponsorship.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Excellent command of English.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant field experience.
- Sound understanding of classroom dynamics and teaching methodologies.
- Compassionate, positive disposition.
- Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal communication abilities.
Selection Process and Additional Information
