About Compass International School Doha
Established in 2006, Compass International School Doha offers premium British education to expatriate and local Qatari families. Role Purpose
The Teaching Assistant (TA) will support the school's mission by contributing to quality international education. This position operates under the policies of both Compass International School and its parent organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote high achievement expectations and design learning activities aligned with the Primary curriculum.
- Create a respectful, engaging classroom culture encouraging discussion and questioning.
Candidate Profile
- A university degree holder with a recognized Librarian qualification.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced international classroom environment.
- Committed, creative, reflective, and proactive in improving student outcomes.
- Effective communicator building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Compliant with Qatar visa requirements, including holding a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Preferably under husband/family sponsorship.
- Experienced with at least 2 years as a Teaching Assistant.
- Excellent command of English.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent credential.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in teaching assistance or related roles.
- Sound knowledge of classroom techniques and teaching best practices.
- Compassionate and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Selection Process
