Teaching Assistant

Role Overview

We are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants dedicated to supporting mid-career professionals in acquiring and applying new digital skills. Your key role will involve assisting in the learning journey and empowering trainees to successfully transition into new career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist trainers during online sessions hosted on Zoom by managing breakout rooms and leading interactive activities such as polls, games, and simulations.
• Communicate essential session details to trainees through chat, email, and other platforms before, during, and after classes; address queries and escalate complex questions to trainers when necessary.
• Lead coaching and tutorial sessions encouraging collaborative group work and helping trainees navigate course content and assignments.
• Provide personalized one-on-one mentoring to motivate and support trainees who might be struggling to keep pace.
• Monitor attendance and assessment data to identify trainees needing extra support and tailor assistance accordingly.
• Offer regular updates and feedback to trainers regarding trainee progress, lesson pacing, and overall content effectiveness to help refine the program continuously.
• Collaborate with trainers in grading trainee assessments promptly and accurately.
• Engage in process reviews and suggest improvements to enhance program quality and participant experience.

Collaborative Environment

You will report to the Track Lead and Learner Excellence Lead and work closely with colleagues across content development, operations, placement, and marketing teams.

Essential Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of effective learner coaching and mentoring.
• Strong discipline and process-oriented mindset with professionalism representing the brand and openness to continual skills development.
• Fluent English ability with strong verbal and written communication.
• Skilled in utilizing digital tools such as Zoom, Miro, Trello, with a demonstrated capacity to adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly responsible, detail-focused self-starter able to manage tasks independently.
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership of assigned work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in training or coaching mid-career or senior professionals.
• Background or experience in business-related fields, such as an MBA or relevant industry exposure.
• Familiarity with subjects like Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, or Digital Transformation.
• Exposure to learning management systems or online education platforms.
• Basic skills in data analysis and reporting to effectively monitor trainee progress and outcomes.
