Teaching Assistant

Role Overview

This full-time position based in Dubai involves assisting classroom teachers with delivering lessons aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The Teaching Assistant will help develop and prepare educational resources and organise classroom activities to support children's learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with children in small groups or one-to-one sessions to reinforce literacy and numeracy concepts.
• Support classroom behaviour management strategies.
• Supervise children during transitions, playtimes, and outdoor excursions.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and assist in providing meaningful feedback.
• Assist in communication with students' families as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess CACHE Level 2 certification or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Have at least two years of nursery or early years work experience.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of child development and frameworks for early years education.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of working cooperatively with educators, parents, and other staff members.
• Show strong organisational skills to effectively support classroom activities.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and educational technology tools considered beneficial.
