Join PwC Singapore as a Tax Workforce Associate and contribute to helping clients build trust and navigate complexity to gain competitive advantage. PwC operates globally with over 370,000 professionals across multiple service lines including audit, tax, deals, and consulting. The Tax Services team focuses on delivering strategic, technology-driven tax solutions and advisory services to businesses and individuals.
Role Summary
As a Workforce Associate within the Tax practice, you will collaborate with experienced consultants to support managers and senior managers in delivering comprehensive tax solutions. You will engage in various workstreams such as employment tax, immigration, HR operations, advisory, and total rewards, gaining broad exposure and practical experience through on-the-job learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing tailored client solutions by thoroughly understanding client needs from a broad perspective.
- Create impactful client deliverables that clearly communicate insights and tax advice.
- Support the delivery of technically sound Singapore employment tax advisory, including areas like equity plans, structuring, investments, mergers & acquisitions, and family office setups for both local and international clients across diverse industries.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery and timely completion of projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while keeping clients informed about relevant market and legislative developments.
- Participate in generating thought leadership by proactively researching industry trends and new knowledge.
- Engage in business development activities to support team growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources.
- Possesses strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
- Good grasp of theoretical concepts and frameworks relevant to tax and finance.
- Demonstrates active involvement in co-curricular activities.
- Previous experience in tax roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective client communication and documentation preparation.
- Curious mindset with eagerness to learn and solve problems to provide optimal client solutions.
- Collaborative approach and ability to contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Adept at thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment prioritizing quality and efficiency.
