Tax Technology Expert (w/m/d)

The Stuttgart office is currently seeking a motivated Tax Technology Expert for a full-time role with immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to the digital transformation initiatives within the tax department.
• Support the enhancement and streamlining of tax-related processes and further development of the Tax-Compliance-Management-System covering corporate, trade, and value-added taxes.
• Define tax control measures and identify tax-related risks, including updating existing guidelines and policies.
• Design and implement analytical solutions to extract and evaluate key tax performance indicators.
• Analyze current processes and assist with deployment of new workflows and ERP solutions that facilitate compliance with VAT and income tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics with a specialization in tax law; certification as a tax advisor is not mandatory.
• At least five years of professional experience in tax-related roles, ideally with knowledge of both local (HGB) and international (IFRS) accounting standards.
• Genuine interest in shaping national tax processes and improving efficiency.
• Experience with tax reporting software like DefTax, Impero or Infolog is considered advantageous.
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a dependable, autonomous working approach.
