Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a broad spectrum of business tax issues including compliance and strategic tax planning.
- Prepare and review income tax provisions for financial statement reporting purposes.
- Support clients in handling and resolving tax disputes efficiently.
- Stay current with applicable and pending tax legislation and apply this knowledge effectively in practice.
- Lead by example, delivering exceptional service, fostering collaboration, and promoting a high-performance culture.
- Develop and mentor team members by providing impactful opportunities for growth.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, influencing positively and confidently.
- Enhance work processes and client service through efficient utilization of common technology tools.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in tax compliance and advisory environments.
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand's tax processes and regulatory environment.
- Proven management and leadership capabilities, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Client-focused and results-oriented attitude, with business development acumen.
- Passion for developing people and supporting career growth.
