- Offer guidance on tax structures and complex taxation scenarios.
- Analyze challenging Australian tax issues and create practical, well-reasoned advice.

- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical tax knowledge.
- Contribute to firm-wide technical training initiatives.
- Provide specialist tax support to other firm divisions as needed.

- Stay up-to-date on Australian tax laws, ATO rulings, and latest developments.
Candidate Profile

- Currently or recently employed in a dedicated Tax Consulting team within a Big Four or established mid-tier professional firm.
- Proficient knowledge and practical use of Australian tax legislation.
- Proven ability in conducting Australian legislative and technical tax research.
- Experience advising on tax structures and handling complex structuring issues.

- Active involvement in technical training and knowledge dissemination across the firm.
- Strong interpersonal, client management, and communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and technical writing skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Taxation, Accounting, Commerce, Business, Law or related fields.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CTA are highly preferred.
- Postgraduate qualifications like a Master of Taxation are advantageous.
- Must hold full and unrestricted Australian work rights.
