Tax Associate

About the Role

We are partnering with a reputable medium-sized accountancy firm based in Dublin seeking a Tax Associate to join their expanding tax team. This role involves working within the Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory group, overseeing a varied client base across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing compliance obligations for a diverse portfolio, including Income Tax and Corporation Tax clients.
• Providing both compliance and consultancy services related to other tax categories such as Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisition Tax, VAT, and Relevant Contracts Tax.
• Receiving ongoing mentorship and development opportunities from Tax Partners and Managers to enhance confidence and diversify skills.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Must hold ACCA or ACA qualifications; CTA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Possess at least one year post-qualification experience within an Irish accounting practice.
• Demonstrate robust technical expertise with a proven capability for identifying client opportunities.
• Exhibit dedication, motivation, and proactive approach in business dealings.
• Experience managing Revenue-related queries and tax registrations for companies and individuals.
• Interest or ongoing pursuit of CTA certification is an advantage.
