Job Overview
Join Geosurv Pty Ltd, a rapidly expanding Australian company specializing in Surveying, Geospatial, and Utilities services supporting major infrastructure, construction, and development projects throughout New South Wales. As part of a team of approximately 100 employees, we are focusing on growth within our Utilities Network, which offers services like utility locating and mapping, utility surveying, CCTV, non-destructive digging, civil works, and asset maintenance.
Role Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for managing end-to-end recruitment activities within the Utilities Network.
- Engage in proactive recruitment strategies, including direct sourcing, headhunting, and building relationships with passive candidates beyond traditional job advertisements.
- Develop and sustain talent pipelines for both urgent and future roles.
- Screen applicants and coordinate interview scheduling with relevant hiring managers.
- Create compelling and engaging job advertisements for platforms such as SEEK, LinkedIn, and more.
- Maintain positive candidate communication and ensure an excellent recruitment experience.
- Coordinate necessary pre-employment checks including references, licenses, and tickets.
- Keep recruitment data organized and up to date within Employment Hero.
- Provide leadership with consistent updates regarding open vacancies and ongoing candidate status.
- Support candidates throughout offer stages, onboarding, and commencement processes.
Candidate Profile
- Possess roughly three years of experience in talent acquisition, enjoying proactive recruitment and relationship development.
- Proven expertise in direct sourcing and headhunting, adept at contacting and engaging passive candidates who may not currently seek new opportunities.
- Experience recruiting within the utilities, civil construction, infrastructure, engineering, trades, or blue-collar sectors is essential.
- Experience may be from either in-house corporate recruitment teams or recruitment agencies.
