Powered by eBPF sensors, Upwind provides agentless cloud posture discovery, continuous threat protection, and integrated API security.

The company is undergoing rapid global expansion, aiming to innovate and evolve significantly. Every new team member plays a crucial role in shaping its trajectory.

Role Summary

We seek a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Partner to join our expanding global Talent team. This position requires adaptability, as responsibilities will shift across various teams, functions, and regions. One quarter you may focus on building R&D teams in Belfast or Iceland, and the next, assisting in leadership hiring or scaling new geographies.

This role demands agility, resourcefulness, a low ego, and comfort with ambiguity. The ideal candidate can prioritize effectively, take initiative without strict processes, and excel in sourcing and pipeline-building to secure top-tier and passive candidates.

The position is Belfast-based with a hybrid schedule requiring office presence three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles across multiple departments, roles, and locations.
  • Adapt swiftly to shifting business priorities by learning new talent markets and candidate profiles.
  • Develop pipelines proactively using various sourcing strategies such as creative market mapping, referrals, networking, and AI-driven tools.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand business requirements, challenge assumptions, and support hiring decisions.
  • Operate with urgency and ownership by identifying and resolving bottlenecks independently.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing market insights, candidate intelligence, and recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Deliver a personalized, high-quality candidate experience from initial contact to closing.
  • Build sustained talent networks rather than treating recruitment as one-off transactions.
  • Coordinate effectively with the global Talent team spanning the US, Israel, EMEA, and APJ to address critical hiring needs worldwide.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in recruitment strategies, technologies, processes, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech companies, preferably in cybersecurity.
  • Proven excellence in sourcing and engaging high-caliber passive candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit across various functions, seniority levels, and geographies; aptitude to quickly assimilate new talent markets.
  • Strong business acumen to discern critical candidate qualities beyond just job descriptions.
  • Ease working in dynamic, ambiguous environments and adjusting priorities rapidly.
  • Highly proactive with the capacity to take initiative without waiting for directions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with confidence in influencing senior leadership.
  • Well-developed organizational and prioritization capabilities to juggle several searches without compromising candidate experience or quality.
  • Proficiency with modern recruiting technologies, data analytics, and AI-assisted sourcing tools to optimize output.
  • Collaborative mindset focused on team success over individual credit.
  • Ability to work at a fast startup pace with a strong sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for international or multi-regional roles.
  • Background in recruiting for both go-to-market and technical positions.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or other highly competitive tech sectors.
