Role Overview

The Regional Talent Acquisition Partner will be the driving force behind recruitment operations at Unispace's Sydney office, supporting hiring needs across Australia and New Zealand. Based full-time onsite, you will collaborate closely with HR and hiring managers across various departments including Design, Project Management, Pre-construction, Construction, Commercial, and Corporate. This hands-on recruitment role requires proficiency in handling numerous active positions and cultivating future talent pools. Acting as a brand champion, you will ensure all candidates have a professional and engaging experience from initial contact to hiring.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for vacancies across Australia and New Zealand, from defining requirements to onboarding.
• Partner with managers to clarify job roles, develop appealing job descriptions, and identify the ideal candidate profiles and timelines.
• Source talent using various strategies such as direct search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and niche networks.
• Conduct preliminary screening calls and structured competency interviews to evaluate candidate suitability and cultural alignment.
• Manage offers including salary benchmarking, negotiations, and pre-employment background checks.
• Develop and sustain proactive talent pipelines for essential and challenging roles within the Unispace portfolio.
• Promote and maintain the employer brand to ensure a consistently positive candidate experience.
• Build and nurture trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders by providing expert recruitment guidance and market insights.
• Maintain accurate records of vacancies and candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and generate regular recruitment data and pipeline reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in in-house or agency recruitment, preferably within the built environment, workplace design, construction, or professional services sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous vacancies across different roles and seniority levels.
• Strong skills in direct sourcing backed by practical experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent acquisition tools.
• Effective communication skills, capable of influencing and advising senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to balance competing priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Experience using ATS platforms for accurate recruitment tracking and reporting.
• Prior recruitment exposure in Commercial Real Estate, Workplace Design, Interior Fit-out, Architecture, or Construction is a plus.
• Familiarity with recruiting specialized roles such as interior designers, project managers, pre-construction, or site-based professionals is advantageous.
• Experience with diversity and inclusion recruitment initiatives is desirable.
