Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Associate position is a full-time, on-site role located in Dar es-Salaam. The incumbent will oversee recruitment activities throughout the entire hiring lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, application screening, interview coordination and conduction, and aiding in hiring decisions. Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams, the associate will assist in understanding role requirements, crafting job descriptions, and ensuring a smooth candidate journey. Daily responsibilities include managing recruitment pipelines, maintaining precise candidate data, liaising between candidates and hiring managers, and contributing to ongoing recruitment process improvements. Additional tasks may include supporting employer branding efforts and coordinating onboarding activities as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in end-to-end recruitment processes (full life cycle recruiting).
- Experience with candidate interviewing and hiring assessments.
- Three to five or more years of experience in HR consulting or related sectors.
- Strong communication capabilities to effectively engage candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Practical experience in talent acquisition, HR, or human capital consulting is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational aptitude, attention to detail, and capability to juggle multiple roles and deadlines.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment software platforms, and common office productivity tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional office environment based in Dar es-Salaam while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines is considered beneficial.
