Role Overview
Join AIA New Zealand as a Talent Acquisition Adviser where you will be instrumental in attracting and securing exceptional talent, while ensuring an outstanding experience for candidates. Collaborating closely with leaders across the company, you will manage recruitment from initial discussions to hiring decisions, offering trusted guidance and practical solutions aligned with current and future workforce demands. You will nurture strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates, promote AIA's employer brand, and contribute to ongoing enhancements in recruitment processes that build robust talent pipelines and support AIA's mission of helping people live healthier, longer, better lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies targeting high-quality candidates aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate smooth end-to-end hiring processes balancing candidate satisfaction, quality hires, and timely recruitment.
- Build and sustain diverse talent pools through focused sourcing, market insights, employee referrals, and employer branding efforts.
- Enhance AIA’s image as an employer of choice by delivering engaging, positive candidate experiences throughout the hiring journey.
- Identify and implement improvements in recruitment systems, workflows, and methodologies to increase efficiency.
- Ensure accurate recruitment data collection and reporting to inform decisions and maintain compliance.
Required Skills and Capabilities
- Experience overseeing end-to-end recruitment and fostering strong partnerships with hiring teams and candidates.
- Excellent communication abilities with proficiency in providing clear advice, active listening, and constructive feedback to facilitate successful hires.
- Strong analytical skills to assess information, evaluate alternatives, and make sound recommendations in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills for managing recruitment operations, compliance, and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with employer branding initiatives, talent attraction campaigns, or candidate engagement is advantageous.
- Knowledge of corporate recruiting processes, remuneration strategies, HR systems, or workforce planning is beneficial.
