Role Overview
As a Systems Accountant reporting to the Finance Reporting and Systems Lead, you will play a key role in enhancing and standardizing finance business processes by leveraging technology. This position acts as the pivotal link between finance and technology teams, involving responsibilities from assessing stakeholder requirements, managing change priorities, up to supporting and implementing finance system projects.
This role is based in our Northcote office, featuring amenities such as free parking, EV charging, an on-site gym and café, and hybrid working options including working from home on Fridays. Employees also receive exciting discounts across the Group's brands.
Responsibilities
- Identify and introduce improvements to automate and standardize financial business processes.
- Manage and support finance technology investments.
- Collaborate closely with finance and IT teams to define stakeholder requirements and prioritize change initiatives.
- Assist with the deployment and ongoing support of finance systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ideally CA qualified or possess relevant experience in finance systems.
- Experience implementing or supporting core finance systems.
- Familiarity with various accounting systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable work approach.
- Experience with Coupa and/or Oracle systems is a significant advantage.
