System Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking to hire a System Engineer proficient in handling virtualization platforms, endpoint management solutions, identity and access controls, and enterprise IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing VMware environments, backup utilities, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory, and overall Windows infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer VMware vSphere including ESXi hosts and virtual infrastructure.
• Oversee VM backup and restoration processes, with Veeam or similar software.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device registration, compliance monitoring, app deployment, and securing endpoints.
• Handle Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity management and lifecycle administration.
• Configure and update Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, user accounts, and permission settings.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause diagnostics for server, virtualization, and endpoint-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain infrastructure reliability and security standards.

Required Skills

• Expertise in VMware Administration and vSphere/ESXi management.
• Experience with VM backup and recovery solutions, preferably Veeam.
• Proficient with Microsoft Intune and device management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Active Directory management and Group Policy configuration skills.
• Windows Server administration capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 platform administration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Support roles.
• Understanding of cloud technologies as well as endpoint security best practices.
