Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Surveillance Technician to become part of our team at SkyCity Adelaide. This position involves close collaboration with the Surveillance and ICT departments to deploy and manage camera systems throughout the hotel, including bars, restaurants, and gaming zones.
Key Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair camera hardware and software systems.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electronic and network devices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV and IT infrastructure.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for system configuration and diagnostics.
- Deploy new surveillance software efficiently.
- Safeguard the surveillance network’s security and manage access rights.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have practical experience with installation and upkeep of advanced digital IP CCTV systems. Expertise in CAD for drafting and updating camera location plans that meet compliance standards is essential. You will have a background in project planning and management, demonstrating strong organisational abilities and high ethical standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service aptitude are crucial along with the ability to solve problems effectively. The role requires a self-starter mentality who thrives both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with casino, gaming, or operational settings is a distinct advantage.
