Job description
Position Overview
Join the Office of the Chief Justice as a permanent full-time Support Services Coordinator. You will be part of a compact, active, and highly regarded team based in Wellington, providing essential support to judicial and ceremonial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dependable and amiable administrative as well as logistical assistance across business services, events, and communications efforts.
- Organize meetings, judicial ceremonies, workshops, travel arrangements, accommodation, venue bookings, materials, and calendars to ensure efficient and seamless execution of activities.
- Communicate professionally with judiciary members, internal teams, government departments, contractors, suppliers, and external organizations.
- Manage daily office operations by handling supplies, mail, courier services, records, shared spaces, building issues, and facilities-related requests.
- Support a safe, orderly, and welcoming work environment through assistance with health, safety, wellbeing, compliance, and practical onsite coordination.
Required Skills and Experience
- Background in administration, personal assistance, customer service, hospitality, reception, event coordination, or any other support-related function.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint, complemented by strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple priorities and logistics calmly and efficiently.
- A collaborative mindset, adaptable attitude, solution-oriented approach, and initiative to foresee needs and actively contribute where necessary.
- Professionalism, discretion, resilience, and eagerness to deepen understanding of the Judiciary and Māori worldview (Te Ao Māori).

Salary and Application Details
The annual salary range for this position is between 67066 and 90008 NZD, dependent on skills and experience.
