Job Overview

This position is a one-year fixed-term contract role responsible for overseeing supply chain activities throughout the Asia Pacific markets. The role ensures product availability, coordinates capacity management, and streamlines supply chain processes in collaboration with various internal and regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly supply planning operations including allocations and adjustments to meet demand variations.
  • Ensure high product availability to maximize sales and revenue within the BSAP market.
  • Analyze forecast data (N+7) for both import and export products to support production planning and identify purchase order trends, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Global Supply Chain Management team and other business units to enhance availability and reduce operational costs by identifying causes of order cuts and scheduling shipments efficiently.
  • Coordinate inventory planning and cost optimization with group companies while mitigating risks from supply shortages or limited product availability.
  • Assist in supplying data and analysis to support capacity planning efforts including investments in molds and other resources.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts for supply planning, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for accuracy and alignment.
  • Monitor and report on performance indicators such as order confirmations, production delays, and inventory levels; escalate issues and develop improvement plans as needed.
  • Represent BSCAP in monthly calls with BSJ and other business units to advocate for improvements and align initiatives.
  • Proactively seek ways to reduce or avoid supply and stock issues related to SMDS/OE SK products.
  • Ensure compliance with trade, regulatory, legal, and audit requirements within operational processes.
  • Complete additional tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain planning.
  • Strong understanding of production planning and factory operations.
  • Preferable prior experience or exposure within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in warehouse management systems, planning tools, and ERP software such as SAP and JDA.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and strong interpersonal skills across various organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in daily operational contexts.
  • Ability to collaborate with multicultural teams effectively and forge strong organizational relationships across geographic regions.
  • Acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement and change.
  • Capable of managing priorities independently and solving issues proactively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
