Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement activities, collaborate with suppliers, and plan material requirements.
• Evaluate and build lasting relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Supervise purchase orders, manage delivery timelines, and ensure material availability.
• Liaise with production, quality assurance, logistics, and project teams to streamline supply processes.
• Monitor supplier performance to guarantee punctual material deliveries.
• Tackle supply chain challenges and follow up on any delivery delays.
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, inventory, and supplier documentation.
• Assist in initiatives focused on cost control and process enhancements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Academic credentials: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of procurement and supply chain workflows.
• Strong skills in vendor management and effective negotiation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency using MS Excel and generating reports.
