Job Overview
The role focuses on ensuring that the distribution center (DC) meets its service delivery objectives through vigilant supervision and efficient resource management. The candidate will uphold the company's policies, ethical standards, and values while overseeing operations based on established standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor DC operations in line with standard operating procedures to guarantee service targets are met.
- Lead efforts to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) via adept management of personnel and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards relating to equipment and inventory.
- Oversee completion of daily tasks ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Provide daily reports focusing on manpower utilization, productivity, and time management.
- Monitor and regulate use of consumable supplies and control overtime hours.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a graduate degree in any discipline or at least a diploma.
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in similar operational roles.
- Exhibit strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
- Competent in using email software, especially Outlook.
- Experience with store operations will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is required.
