Supervisor Accountant

Job Overview

The Supervisor Accountant at SRACO COMPANY in Dammam will lead payroll accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and Saudi regulations.

Primary Duties

• Examine payroll inputs such as salary adjustments, allowances, deductions, overtime and settlements for correctness and approval.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll departments to guarantee timely and precise payroll execution.
• Reconcile payroll data, payment schedules and employee-related accounts against the General Ledger.
• Assess payroll expense allocation by project, department and organization.
• Oversee reconciliation of employee benefits including end-of-service benefits, leave balances, and ticket allocations.
• Review GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) reconciliations, analyze payroll variations and assist in month-end financial closings and audits.
• Manage team activities while preserving payroll confidentiality and documented internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Hold valid membership in the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).
• Have a minimum of five years of relevant accounting work experience, including at least two years managing payroll accounting operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of Saudi payroll legislation, GOSI, employee settlements and benefit accounting procedures.
• Experience in managing large-scale payrolls, project cost distributions and reconciliations between payroll and General Ledger.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP software; familiarity with Oracle Fusion Payroll, HCM, and General Ledger modules is advantageous.
• Possess strong analytical capabilities, leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
