Job Overview
This position offers a wonderful opportunity for career development and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 4-7+ years of experience to join a leading engineering consultancy based in Ireland. As part of this role, you will contribute to the design and project management of diverse structural engineering projects spanning a broad client base, with project values ranging from €3 million up to €3 billion. This role is ideal for a Structural Engineer aiming to progress towards Chartership with Engineers Ireland, backed by a solid grounding in building design.
Sample Projects
- Residential developments comprising 600 to 1,200 houses, low-rise apartment buildings, creche facilities, retail spaces, and towers of 13 to 17 stories, with projects valued between €140 million and €400 million.
- Dublin Airport project valued at €3 billion.
- Commercial office projects including mixed-use developments encompassing offices, apartments, retail, entertainment venues, and museums, with project values spanning €250 million to €400 million.
- Educational infrastructure involving the creation of two new schools, valued at €50 million.
- Wastewater treatment project valued at €10 million.
Requirements
- Possession of a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in structural engineering.
- A minimum of 3-5+ years of postgraduate experience as a Structural Engineer within Ireland or the UK.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- A keen willingness to learn and advance professionally.
