Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design calculations and develop solutions for diverse building projects, including evaluating and reinforcing existing structures.
• Create and review technical drawings, collaborate with structural technicians to develop Revit models, and participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination to support project execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and assist with project documentation, technical reports, and correspondence.
• Engage directly with clients and other professionals independently, fostering strong working relationships through effective communication and dependable delivery.
• Provide on-site supervision as required and support project delivery by regional teams across Queensland and Australia.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree accredited under the Washington Accord with a minimum of four years’ experience in structural engineering related to building projects, progressing towards Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
• Possesses strong structural design capabilities with deep knowledge of Australian codes, contract administration, and submission procedures.
• Experienced in drafting calculations and coordinating drawings and models; familiarity with Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, or programming is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Capable of working autonomously with minimal oversight, effective at planning, juggling priorities, and meeting project deadlines and budgets.
• Strong communicator with teamwork skills and a commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.
