About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous Structural Draughtsman skilled in AutoCAD and Revit software to join our on-site team at Unitech Multi Services in Nagpur. The position involves creating precise structural drawings for projects primarily based in the USA and other international locations, focusing on wood and steel structures. The candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and architects, ensuring all designs align with industry norms and project guidelines.
Company Overview
Unitech Multi Services, established in 2020, specializes in engineering design and drafting services including AutoCAD/Revit drafting, design, analysis, detailing, and execution of steel, wooden, concrete, and cold-formed steel (CFS) structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed and accurate structural drawings and models using AutoCAD software.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and architectural teams to develop structural plans.
- Ensure compliance of all drawings and models with relevant industry standards, building codes, and project requirements.
- Review and revise existing designs as necessary to reflect project updates.
- Perform quality control evaluations on drawings to confirm precision and thoroughness.
- Maintain systematic records of drawings, models, and associated documentation.
- Engage in project meetings to discuss and address design and drafting considerations.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge, especially pertaining to the latest features in Revit and industry trends.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years experience in preparing structural drawings involving reinforced concrete and structural steel for residential, commercial, hospitality, villa, and industrial buildings.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit software.
- Sound understanding of structural design principles, construction materials, and building processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in technical drawings.
- Capability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Competence with MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team settings.
