Job Overview
A leading construction firm in Mecca, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their team. The role involves creating structural, design, and execution plans; estimating quantities of steel and concrete; conducting structural calculations; and performing structural design using software tools such as Safe, SAP, and ETABS. Candidates should also be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of aligning structural designs with architectural plans.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural and execution drawings.
- Estimate quantities for steel reinforcement and concrete materials.
- Perform structural calculations and analysis.
- Use engineering design software including Safe, SAP, and ETABS for structural design.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD for drafting and design.
- Ensure structural designs comply and coordinate accurately with architectural layouts.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience with Safe, SAP, and ETABS software tools.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to prepare structural calculation notes and estimation documents.
- Skill in coordinating structural and architectural plans.
