Strategy Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and leadership-oriented Financial Strategy & Leadership Consultant to deliver financial insights and strategic guidance that drive business growth and enhanced performance. This role partners closely with executives, finance leaders, and stakeholders to bolster financial strategies and improve decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate financial strategies to align with corporate objectives, business plans, and long-term growth targets.
• Evaluate financial metrics including profitability, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and key indicators.
• Offer strategic financial advice to executive and senior management teams.
• Support comprehensive business planning, financial forecasting, budgeting, and extensive financial modeling.
• Identify and recommend ways to enhance profitability, cut costs, improve cash management, and elevate financial outcomes.
• Perform detailed financial analyses to aid investment evaluations, expansion possibilities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
• Assess business models, financial frameworks, and commercial opportunities to highlight risks and potential returns.
• Prepare financial models, business cases, management reports, and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Assist leadership in interpreting financial insights into actionable business strategies.
• Advise on financial risks, resource management, performance oversight, and setting strategic priorities.
• Develop and track financial KPIs, performance metrics, and management dashboards.
• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and economic analyses for informed financial planning.
• Support organizational transformations, restructuring efforts, cost-efficiency programs, and financial enhancement projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Executive Leadership on initiatives.
• Lead strategic planning sessions and financial reviews with senior leaders.
• Monitor implementation and effectiveness of financial strategies, recommending adjustments as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional handling of financial information.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in financial strategy, corporate finance, financial consulting, or business strategy roles.
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and managing business performance.
• Experience collaborating with senior executives, finance leaders, and management teams or corporate clients.
• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, modeling, profitability assessment, and cash flow management.
• Commercial acumen and ability to tie financial outcomes to overarching business goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, financial planning software, BI platforms, or advanced Excel proficiency is beneficial.
• Ability to construct financial models, prepare business cases, produce executive reports, and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Awareness of risk management, corporate governance, investment evaluation, and business transformation processes is preferred.
• Capacity to handle multiple strategic projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Advanced qualifications like an MBA or specialized degrees in Finance, Business Strategy, or Management are a plus.
